Your favorite D.C. lounges?

Dear Lynda,

Right now, I like a few places.

• Mate in Georgetown is a good pre-party spot -- especially when either DJ Yakov or Angry Peruvian Eric Sudol is spinning.
  
  
• Degrees and the CityZen lounge are always good bets.
  
  
• Another good loungey place is Lima. All the nightcrawlers are slinking there. It is the new early-night scene to see and be seen in D.C.
  
  
• But no matter how hard the Gtown and Penn Quarter newbies try ... places like Gazuza and Dragonfly are fixtures near Dupont Circle - and home to many lounge lizards.
  
  
• For late night fun, I have been into either Play or EyeBar on Thursdays. Not sure if it's the cute door guys or the smart DJs that keep me going back ... again and again and again. :-p
