House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said she's not ready for the "Simple Life."

The show's producers asked Pelosi if Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie could work as her interns, licking stamps, for just one episode.

Pelosi kindly declined.

Paris Hilton calls Princes William & Harry 'gorgeous'

Paris Hilton has admitted that she has a crush on Princes William and Harry.

The Simple Life star told Glamour magazine: "William - he's so hot. He's gorgeous.

"I think his mother (Diana, Princess Of Wales) was so beautiful. I was always in love with his mother.

"I think they're really sweet, nice boys and they look like their mum. They're both gorgeous."

Paris Hilton gets a Rottweiler!

She might already have a Chihuahua called Tinkerbell, but it seems Paris Hilton has an obsession for dogs.

According to Ananova, she has a new dog, a Rottweiler, which she rescued from a dog shelter. But she has no intention of turning him into an attack dog, her rep Gina Hoffman said.

"She loves animals. He's just a baby," Hoffman told the New York Daily News quoted her rep Gina Hoffman as saying.

Paris Hilton love letters -- no longer a secret!

Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton, whose love life has never been too far away from the paparazzi has once again courted the limelight, as details of love letters reportedly written by her to an ex-boyfriend have been revealed.

According to The New York Post, in the letters written to former Backstreet Boys' popstar Nick Carter during their time together last year, the 23-year-old pours out her love for the singer and in one apologises for lying to him.

"I never want to lose you. I never want to hurt you again. I'm so sorry for the pain that I have caused you. From now on things will be different, I promise," one of the letters reads.

The verses were written inside greeting cards with photos of puppies, reports the paper.

Hotel chain heiress Paris Hilton attended the San Francisco Ballet's masked ball gala with her parents and an Entertainment Tonight film crew.

The "The Simple Life" star was draped in a necklace of cascading golden South Sea pearls and diamonds designed by San Francisco jeweler Rosalina.
